UK Boating Holidays
Chertsey Base
Penton Hook Marina is set in 80 acres and is Britain’s largest inland marina. It is situated on one of the loveliest stretches of the River Thames, close to Chertsey and about a mile downstream from Runnymede where King John signed the Magna Carta. The location is a perfect starting point for a boating holiday on the Thames; cruise upstream to Windsor and our base at Benson, near Oxford, passing through picturesque towns and villages en-route, or cruise downstream to the chic shopping centre of Kingston-upon-Thames, the world famous botanical gardens at Kew and Hampton Court Palace, former royal residence of King Henry VIII.
