Nort-sur-Erdre Base
Nort sur Erdre was once an important industrial port and although the factories have long since disappeared, the area retains a certain charm. Cruising west along the Canal de Nantes a Brest, spend a little time at Guenrouet where you will find the Kerisac cider factory – there you will learn all you need to know about the popular beverage.

Late Arrivals
If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to inform the base directly or the general sales office where you booked. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception door informing you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on for you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following morning.

From Paris: Take the motorway A11 in the direction of Nantes, exit at no 20 at Ancenus and D164 in the direction of Nort sur Erdre.
From Brittany: Head in the direction of Rennes, then take the N137 in the direction of Nantes and exit at Nort sur Erdre and D164.
By Rail:
No train station nearby, but there is a regular bus service “Cariane Atlantique” operating regular services to Nantes – Line 40/41 Nantes – Nort sur Erdre - Chateaubrian. |
