Meander down the Sile river from Casier,
stopping at the islands of Murano and Burano
for their famous glass-blowing and lace-making. Cross to Venice
Lido, perhaps cycle to the golden Lido beach where
'Death in Venice' was filmed. Cruise along the Venice
waterfront to St Mark's Square and its famous bell tower.
See the Basilica, Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. The
go south pas the traditional villages of S Pietro
and Pellestrina to Chioggia
and its amazing fish market. If time, relax in the Po Delta
National Park around the base at Porto Levante.
