 We have 10 boat bases on the Norfolk Broads, all suitable for week, two-week or short break cruises. There are many boat styles – inside and outside steering, centre steering with sliding roofs, or front steering with accommodation on one level.
The Broadland rivers each have their own character and beauty, all meeting at Breydon Water before entering the North Sea.
The River Bure offers unspoilt scenic beauty and bases at Wroxham and Horning.
Wroxham has a good selection of shops, and for many is the centre of the Broads. Horning is an attractive riverside village with pubs, restaurants, and shops. We have three boat bases in this section of the River Bure, with many boating holiday options.
From Wroxham explore the quiet open waters of Wroxham Broad, Salhouse Broad, Blackhorse Broad and Malthouse Broad.
At the head of the river, Coltishall is an attractive village with plenty of moorings. Upstream climb the 97 steps for panoramic views from Ranworth church tower and visit the local nature reserve.
 The northern part of the Broads is crossed by the Rivers Ant and Thurne. The River Ant is an intimate Broads river, narrower than the other rivers. It opens up into the lovely Barton Broad on its way to the bustling Georgian market town of Stalham, home of the Broads Museum and an important port for the wherries which once sailed the Broads.
The River Thurne typifies the Broads with vast expanses of water and sky, churches and derelict windpumps on the horizon.
Potter Heigham is famous for its mediaeval bridge which in perilously low – and may not be passable by some boats. The large Hickling Board is a major nature reserve. The moorings by the Pleasure Boat Inn at Hickling are a popular port of call!
 Taking the River Bure south pass Acle village and perhaps divert to the seaside pleasures of Great Yarmouth or continue to take the River Yare northwest to the cathedral city of Norwich via Brundall. South east on the River Waveney, head to lively Oulton Broad and the coast and seaside at Lowestoft.
From Oulton Broad the River Waveney meanders through the pretty village of Beccles to form the border between Suffolk and Norfolk.
